Whiteboards, spreadsheets, radios, and three-ring binders were never designed to run an airspace. Mosayix replaces them with three things working as one system.

01 · The Range Management System

Run the range, end to end

Operator intake with the documents that matter, from ConOps to insurance to pilot certs, in a vault that tracks expiries and blocks scheduling on lapsed paperwork. Airspace requests arrive in the RSO's queue with conflict checks already run. Datasheets generate themselves from the flight record, weather pre-filled. The quarterly sponsor and FAA report becomes an export, not a project.

02 · Strategic Deconfliction

Catch conflicts before they are booked

Every airspace request is checked in four dimensions at booking, against every other scheduled operation and the range's own operating rules. That is the range's scheduling duty, automated. Containment is enforced server-side: a volume outside the boundary or above the ceiling is a hard block, not a warning, and approval is refused while any hard requirement fails. Overrides exist, require a typed justification, and are written to the audit chain with the steps they bypassed.

Scheduled operation volumes, cooperative manned traffic, weather, TFRs and NOTAMs, and special use airspace, rendered in 3D over real terrain, with full replay of any time window. The picture isn't the product; it's what makes the rest trustworthy.

A Day at the Range

From request to report, without the binder

Every step a range runs on paper today, Mosayix runs as a workflow: timestamped, attributed, and already filed.

1 · Request

An operator requests their airspace and window from their own portal. The system checks the volume against the boundary, the ceiling, and every other scheduled operation, and checks their organization's documents for expiry, before a human ever looks.

2 · Review & Approve

The RSO's queue shows each request with the checks already run and the operator's compliance standing one click away. Approve or deny; both land in the audit trail.

3 · Fly

The readiness checklist shows exactly what is outstanding, each step citing the provision behind it — COA, LOA, MOA, or range SOP. Activation is refused outside the approved window. The 3D picture carries the boundary, the volumes, and current airspace constraints.

4 · Close Out

The datasheet generates from the operation record with the flight-window weather pre-filled. The operator confirms; the RSO approves. Nobody chases a PDF.

5 · Report

Sponsor and FAA report packs export on demand. After any event, the incident reconstruction bundle, with tracks, alerts, acknowledgments, and the hash chain, is the evidence file, ready to hand over.

Every step · On the record

Requests, approvals, status changes, alerts, and acknowledgments are timestamped, attributed, and chained. When a sponsor, the FAA, or an insurer asks how the range is run, you show them.

Every operator gets a portal, so your staff stops chasing

The testing companies that fly at your range work inside Mosayix too, in a portal scoped to their own records. Everything they can do for themselves is work your team no longer does.

They file, you approve

Operators file their own volumes, altitudes, and windows. Requests reach your queue already checked against conflicts, the boundary, the ceiling, and their own document standing — not as an email with a PDF attached.

They keep their own paperwork current

Certificates, insurance, and agreements live in the vault with expiry tracking, and a lapsed requirement blocks that operator's next booking automatically. The system does the policing, so your RSO doesn't have to.

They close out their own flights

The datasheet generates from the flight record with the weather already filled in. The operator reviews and confirms; the RSO approves. The sponsor's reporting artifact is finished the day of the flight.

Operator access is included with your subscription at no cost to them, for as many operators as fly at your range — nothing for you to sell to your tenants. Operators see only their own operations, documents, and datasheets. On shared views, another company's scheduled airspace appears as an occupied volume without identity: enough to plan around, never enough to expose one customer's business to another.

Enforcement

The rules are in the system, not in a binder

Your COA, your LOA, your sponsor MOA, and your range SOP are configured per range as compliance rules. The readiness checklist states each requirement and cites the provision it comes from, so an RSO is never guessing which document a step traces back to. Requirements the range has not configured resolve to not-applicable rather than quietly passing.

Hard blocks, not warnings

Boundary and ceiling containment is enforced server-side. Approval is refused while any hard requirement fails. Activation is refused outside the approved window. A denial requires a written reason, and the operator sees it on their dashboard.

Overrides leave a mark

An override requires a typed justification and writes the bypassed steps to the audit chain. Nothing is waived silently. When a sponsor asks why an operation flew, the answer is a record, not a recollection.

Clocks that start when it happened

NOTAM filing windows, datasheets to range ops and to the sponsor, incident formal reports, sponsor notifications, and the lost-link written summary each run from when the event occurred, not when someone remembered to record it.
